Posted 06/19/25 - Penn Forest Park is hosting a free event on 07/05/25 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at 1336 State Road 903 in Jim Thorpe.
The event will include music, food trucks, bounce house, balloon animals, games, an obstacle course, and fireworks to celebrate the fourth of July holiday. Click here for a copy of the official brochure.

Posted 11/07/24 - Young scouts from a local troop who live in our community are collecting donations of non perishable food items for a local food pantry. A collection box has been placed near the mailbox through Saturday, 11/09/24.

Posted 07/29/24 - Valley View Estates will host its annual Community Yard Sale on Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th from 9am - 3pm. It will be posted locally to draw as much attention as possible (please help spread the word too!). If you would like to participate, please complete the form by clicking here and include as much information as you would like shared about your individual sale. Still inventorying? Don't worry! You can email any updates or changes until the week before.
Posted 05/16/24 - The Penn Forest Fire Co #2 will be hosting our third annual camp cadet program for all children aged 10-14. The camp will be held June 22-23 from 9am to 5pm (parents are required to attend the opening session from 9am to 10pm). Children will learn fire safety, CPR & first aid, hose-line training and other firefighting skills! The registration Fee is $25 (food & water will be provided). The application deadline is Sunday, May 26th limited to the first 40 applicants.

Posted 04/04/24 - The installation of speed humps are the result of a majority vote by P.O.A. members following numerous complaints and concerns from community residents about speeding and reckless driving throughout our development. We recognize the disadvantages of speed humps, but after several meeting with state and local officials speed humps were considered our best option to address what is a seriously dangerous and persistent problem.
